My interests are in philosophy and metaphysics - specifically the fundamental nature of consciousness. Previously, I worked in the tech industry and started a company which I ran for seven years. In 2025 I stepped away from my company and rode a motorcycle from the UK to Japan, which I wrote about here [[Road to Tokyo blog]]. I also enjoy sci-fi, music, photography, and surfing.
